Here’s something fun: A November zine preview with a special The Source on the side, served up by dearest delight of friendship, Marjory Sweet.
Marjory and also friendship-delight Marcy Taubes own and operate (and MAN do they OPERATE) local-to-me, Café Grazie, which opened this spring. Additionally, Marjory is a heckuva host and prolific producer of small-yet-profound cookbooks: Farm Lunch, _____ Is A Breakfast Food, and Romantic Chicken.
Being that Marjory is also into printed matter, that she is a fantastic host, and that I discovered she’s got plenty to say on the subject therein, I asked her to be Treehouse’s first ever (and not last!!) ::Guest Editor:: for the November issue, the “hosting issue.”
This is such a beautiful and special issue, written and creatively directed by Marjory, executed by myself. It is also our first entirely risograph-printed edition, feels good in your hands, and guides you through the process of having a thoughtful, rich, and exacting hosting experience. Producing it has already changed the way that I host for the better (see the most recent Click On This for further evidence of prolific hosting).
To celebrate hosting Marjory as guest editor, I asked if she would kindly put together some hosting essentials—some tabletop, some cookbook-y, some favorite things, that’s all. Here they are, below!
Thanks for stopping by! If you would also like to enjoy and hold a copy of the zine, consider upgrading your subscription to paid+print!
Until next time!

Any chance you have an extra print copy of this one needing some love?? Such a perfect team you two!!!
