Lotsa sweet painted tiles out there these days, but I just love these ceramic lampshades by Hal Haines (there are good tiles, as well). And, of course, I love the DIY implications here, too.
I very much dig Boston-based architect Primary Projects’ whole approach, so I was especially excited to see the many different articles they’re putting together under the Resources tab of their website. All manner of subjects covered from how to create a co-housing community to a run-through of regenerative (plant based) building.
Somehow we are back in the UK for the second time this newsletter! Now we’re making Linoleum-reminiscent surfaces out of sanding dust. Yes! Foresso is the company who developed this product, which they call “No Chip,” in addition to a similar wood scrap derived terrazzo. Extremely cool process and available in some great color options.
