I took myself on a much-needed and also much-appreciated solo vacation to the Berkshires a few weeks ago. I stayed at Tourists in North Adams, MA, where each room comes equipped with these sweet oak and canvas folding chairs by Kermit Chairs. Of course I had to learn more! The temptation of an unturned stone being just too great. The folding chairs were designed by Kermit Easterling in the 1980s and originally meant for BMW motorcycle enthusiasts, who gather together to… I don’t know, I guess enjoy fancy motorcycles together. The chairs have been in demand and production in Tennessee since then and are, frankly, very sweet.

I have a vest (above) that has become a real staple and compliment accumulator for me. I got it on sale, but now it’s even MORE on sale and it’s still available in most sizes. So! I feel compelled to share, despite the fact that no one wants to think about wool right now.
