Our recent interview between Making Things authors Erin & Rose has me thinking of all the thoughtful little ways you could make a rented space your own (and, to be honest, all the ways to do this without spending a lot of or any money). These Tulip Shades seem like a great little fix for when you aren’t going to (or can’t) switch out a hardwired fixture. Bonus round is certainly making one of your own!
Sure, cyanotype is a lot of fun, but if you are sort of literal and need things to have a purpose afterwards (hello), you might find yourself saying, “Now what?” while holding oodles of little scraps of blue paper.
