garden, garden, garden - bt the brassicas, design an anti-bunny and maybe even anti-chipmunk fence for a raised bed, finish getting the sets all in, cut the grass and for relaxation - open the beautiful etched circa 1950 glasses dropped off by a buy nothing member
I'm trying to finish a pleated paper lampshade I've been working on for a while. This thing would cost me a billion dollars if I bought it--it is really absurdly time-consuming. Very excited for the finished product though!
I tried my hand at cement furniture after reading your post. I worked myself into a full panic when the wet cement infiltrated my leather gloves and thought I was definitely going to get a cement burn. Thankfully I did not and my cement umbrella stand works fairly well even if I didn’t spend any time smoothing the top layer to make it look nice. Note to self just follow the directions on the bag and buy the nitrile gloves!
Oh great!! Quick setting concrete can definitely be sort of panicky, I agree. You’re sort of racing against the clock on something that’s incredibly heavy and physical at the same time? All the same, still love trying things with it!
I’ve never seen, or maybe never noticed, an octagonal house. Very cool.

Cooking through all my pantry goods before a move! This involves my favorite activity of looking through cookbooks and coming up with a game plan :)
